Premier Orchestrates UK Launch for Yorgos Lanthimos's 'Poor Things’

January 12th sees the UK launch of Searchlight’s Poor Things, for which Premier has been handling publicity and awards.  In December, director Yorgos Lanthimos, actors Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe and Ramy Youssef, as well as multiple Heads of Department, were in London for a gala screening at The Barbican Centre, organised by Premier. Premier managed all travel and junket logistics for the cast and crew in London, where they also completed UK and international press, with Stone and Ruffalo filming the New Year’s Eve episode of The Graham Norton Show. Premier’s awards team ran BAFTA and AMPAS Q&As.
 
Poor Things is the fourth of Lanthimos’s English-language films for which Premier has handled unit publicity, world premiere festival launch, UK and international publicity and awards. Producers Element Pictures are also Premier clients. Last weekend the film won two Golden Globes – Best Comedy or Musical, and Best Actress, Comedy or Musical for Emma Stone.

Using Activision Blizzard’s most famous and iconic gaming IPs, including World of Warcraft, Diablo Immortal and Overwatch 2, ‘Embrace your Game’ is a full 360 European campaign, across Samsung’s extensive and wide-reaching eco-system including digital, retail, CRM, social, experiential and events, all underpinned by a backbone PR campaign.

Premier's Comprehensive Campaign Propels Harlan Coben’s 'Fool Me Once' to Global Success on Netflix

Premier worked on the launch campaign for Quay Street Productions Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once, for Netflix. Throughout production, we facilitated set visit opportunities to bank content until the launch. Additionally, the team hosted an extensive press pack interviewing cast members. After a successful unit campaign, a special screening, Q&A, photo call and junket at The Soho Hotel bringing together actors, creatives, press, influencers and celebrity guests. The team have secured widespread coverage across broadcast, print and digital media totalling over 750 pieces of coverage with outlets to date. Following its launch last week, the limited series has debuted at number 1 on Netflix’s global English TV list with 37.1 million views in its first week, in addition to reaching the Top 10 in 91 countries.

Premier's Campaign for Harlequins' Big Game 15 Sets World Record in Women's Club Rugby Attendance

Premier worked with Harlequins to create a PR and social media campaign to drive ticket sales and break an attendance record for its’ annual blockbuster, Big Game 15, at Twickenham Stadium. A central part of the brief was to attempt to break the world record for the number of fans attending a women’s rugby match, so we launched the ‘Women in Sport Heroes List’ that asked local schoolchildren to help choose the top 10 women’s sport stars of 2023, announcing the results in a photoshoot with Quinns’ players.
 
The event campaign generated coverage, including a live interview with Harlequins Women’s team on ITV London News, Daily Telegraph and 18 regional features. Premier partnered with What’s On, providing them with access to exclusive merchandise and matchday experiences, which led to organic social engagement of nearly one million. The match drew over 77,000 fans, and we achieved a new world record for the highest attendance for a women's club rugby game!

Premier Creative Executes International Junket for Saltburn at Television Centre with Renowned Cast

Premier orchestrated a three-room junket for Emerald Fennell’s new hit Saltburn at the Television Centre in White City, featuring Barry Keoghan, Alison Oliver, Archie Madekwe, Paul Rhys, and Ewan Mitchell. Notably, a total of 132 deliveries were efficiently managed across 16 territories.  The film team handled unit, and is still involved in UK and international publicity and awards on Saltburn.
