We extend a warm invitation to participants in Phase X and above to join the Phase 11 Class on January 26 and February 15, 2024!

Our hope is for a significant number of skilled stitchers to acquire proficiency in distinctive techniques, such as the Takeyamachi techniques on Sha fabric and various useful tips on Ro fabric. Ultimately, we envision participants becoming adept enough to teach or apply these techniques to future projects. We warmly welcome you to join us for this Phase 11 class.

The class will focus on explaining the techniques required for this level, grounded in the three pillars of Nuido, over the course of two full days. Please note that dedicated stitching time may not be provided during the class, so we encourage you to either stitch on your own or attend the Advanced monthly sessions.

Time: 10 am - 15:30 pm EST
Requirement: Phase X and above level stitchers

  • Live lecture with real-time video instruction
  • Live questionnaire time during the stitching session

The Monthly Advanced Support Session on Jan 8th, 2024

Our monthly advanced class is a great way to meet other members who share your passion for Japanese embroidery, exchange ideas and techniques, and learn from each other's experiences.

On January 8th, we will discuss traditional training methods in Japan for the new year. Please feel free to share your own experiences as well!

Whether you are looking to advance your skills, connect with other members, or simply enjoy a relaxing and creative time, our monthly advanced class on Japanese embroidery is a great opportunity for you. We hope to see you there!

All Phase X and above stitchers are welcome to join. 
This monthly class encourages advanced stitchers to bring their ongoing projects and deepen their skills with JEC/Kurenai-kai certified professionals. Also, helps teachers to pass on necessary information and skills to establish high-standard teaching for their students. Also, we plan to issue the certification for completing Phase 20 and above to encourage the teachers to teach the upper phases.
Morning talk will be provided during this program. You can bring any ongoing projects and we are here to provide the necessary aid or you can listen to other stitchers' support.

2024 EGA National Seminar Registration 

Embroidery Guild of America will be hosting the 2024 EGA National Seminar – Preserving Needle Art in Atlanta, GA from Wednesday, August 14 to Sunday, August 18, 2024. Registration opens September 19th at NOON Eastern time.
