Registered Programs and Courses

The MacBain Community Centre has a lot to offer this winter!

Whether your child is curious about coding or robotics, learning to relax and stretch through yoga, or looking for something more fast-paced, like tennis or sportball, we have it all!

Our programs include:

Alchemy Yoga Classes
Alchemy Yoga strives to provide a serene, safe space to get to know your body; that is what yoga is about!

Babysitting Course
The Canada Safety Council Babysitting course covers everything from managing challenging behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Aspiring babysitters also learn basic first-aid skills.

Carousel Players After School Drama Program
Professional educators will guide participants through games, activities, and experiences that teach them individual skills and allow them to make new friends.

Home Alone Course
The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods. It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied.

Kidz Who Can Coding
Participants learn coding fundamentals and basic graphic design skills.

RoboThink Robotics
Participants will focus on implementing robotics and STEM through practical and adapted approaches to learning. Join us for STEM fun with Engineer Race Cars and Battle Robots. Build and race cars while learning about parts. Duke it out with robots, RoboThink-style!

Sportball Multi-Sport
These well-rounded classes provide a fantastic foundation for a lifetime of active living, bundling soccer, baseball, basketball, football, hockey, volleyball, golf and tennis into one comprehensive package.

Tennis Lessons
Join us at the brand-new Niagara Falls Racquet Centre at John Allan Park. Thanks to an enclosed dome, you can enjoy tennis year-round! Professional instructors will guide you through skills, drills, and games to develop your abilities in a small group environment. Equipment is available upon request.

The Martial Arts Centre Karate
In partnership with The Martial Arts Center, this ten-week program teaches Goju Ryu Karate, a traditional style of Okinawan martial arts. Goju is a well-balanced system which is excellent for youth.
