UPDATE FOR 38: JANUARY 2024

APA’s annual convention is in Seattle, and we want you to join us! Have great work to share? Submit a presentation proposal! Hurry - the deadline is January 10.

ALL SUBMISSIONS (including those generated by SfHP Councils/Committees/Interest Groups) must be completed by 5:00 pm Eastern on January 10, 2024.  No extensions are permitted.

The only way to ensure uninterrupted access to your Society benefits, to include our journal Health Psychology, The Health Psychologist, our members-only listservs, and our FREE webinars for members across the career span (to include CE!) is to renew today!  To learn more about membership benefits, click here.

You may renew quickly by calling APA Member Services at 800-374-2721. They will be able to accept your payment by phone and update your membership immediately. For more information about renewing online, please click here.

Remember, you do not have to be a member of APA, to be a member of the SfHP.

The Society for Health Psychology Health Research Council sponsors several graduate student research awards covering up to $2000 in direct research costs. This represents a unique opportunity for SfHP student members to gain experience preparing a grant application and to develop a track record of independent funding.  

Award applications are due January 31, 2024!

SfHP is working to increase the number of health psychologists on APA Boards and Committees.

Nominations are open until January 31st. We are happy to write letters of support for members applying - especially ECPs and first-time applicants!
