New Year's Blessings

Dear Friends,

Happy New Year! I hope and pray that your walks with God in 2024 bring you wholeness and help you discover how God calls you to contribute to the healing of the world. I wish this article could begin and end with this prayer, but alas I have some church housekeeping tidbits to share with you about the month of January.

This month, the church does much of its business to prepare for the new year. On Sunday, January 28th, we will have one service at 9am followed by breakfast and our annual meeting. At the annual meeting we will celebrate the prior year and look ahead to the rest of 2024. We will vote on new members of the vestry and other positions, and we will take a look at the 2024 budget. The Sunday prior, January 21st during the 9am forum time, we will take a look at the preliminary budget and welcome your feedback.

This upcoming annual meeting will be my tenth with you at St. Mark's, and I am very excited to begin my 11th year partnering in ministry with you here at this special place on Pearl Street.

Peace and blessings,
