"Crafts of North Dakota" Activities at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum
BISMARCK, N.D. – The public is invited to "Crafts of North Dakota" Monday, Jan.15, and Tuesday, Jan. 16, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum in Bismarck. Make traditional crafts and learn about some of the ethnic groups that have shaped the cultural heritage of the state.
Artisans have passed down their expertise from one generation to the next. Use techniques such as beading, paper cutting, quilting, and rosemaling to make your own crafts to take home. Materials will be provided. All ages are welcome, and activities will be modified for different age groups.
