Legislative Updates

  1. MAHC submitted testimony on LD1672 in favor, with suggested amendments.
  2. MAHC's priority bill to increase the state historic tax credit has been printed as LD2106. 
  3. Rep. Golek has a sponsor amendment to LD 1710, “An Act to Establish the Maine Rental Assistance and  Guarantee Program and Amend the Laws Regarding Tenants and the Municipal General Assistance Program.” The amendment is a repeal and replace of LD 1710 as drafted, except Sections 2, 3 and 5, which are in the original bill. Changes in the amendment in Sections 3 and 5 are noted in gray highlights.
