SHORT SCREENPLAY COMPETITION
Do you know a storyteller?
We want to see their five-page screenplay!
This contest is part of PTFF’s ongoing mission to cultivate a vibrant film community on the Olympic Peninsula, and it’s a fantastic opportunity for local storytellers to see their creative visions come to life on the big screen.
The winning script will receive full production by a dynamic team of regional filmmakers, including members of the Port Townsend Film Festival, Jefferson County Filmmakers Collective, and Port Townsend Film Studio. And the film will debut at the Port Townsend Film Festival, September 19 to 22, 2024.
Deadline for Submission: March 1, 2024

SEEKING LOCAL SHORT FILMS
While PTFF presents films from around the globe,
we also have the goal of supporting local filmmakers.
We encourage short film submissions from Puget Sound Islands and Olympic Peninsula-based filmmakers.
PTFF will feature the chosen films in the festival program and in other marketing materials. As an additional support, submission fees have been reduced for this category.
For more details and to submit, click on the button. In FilmFreeway, look for the “LOCAL Short Film” category.
