Dear parents,
Today’s Eucharistic Procession was an extraordinary celebration, filled with warmth, devotion, and the vibrant spirit of our Catholic school community. On behalf of the entire school, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you who played a significant role in making this annual event a beautiful and authentic occasion for our students.
To all the parents who dedicated their time and effort to the preparation and execution of the procession, your devotion to our Lord was beautiful for your children to witness. Thank you for the hundreds and hundreds of flowers and 25,000 rose petals that were donated. Seeing the parents, grandparents, and family members processing after our Lord was a true testament to the heart of our #AssumptionStrong community.
I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to the Sisters for their outstanding efforts in organizing this procession. Such events are commonplace in European countries, specifically Spain where their order originates. Each year, they have brought aspects of this tradition to our campus and continue to foster a deep spirituality and love of our Lord within our community.
Lastly, I am proud of our students for their devotion to the Eucharist. From the beautiful artwork at each altar to their thoughtful prayer,it is in gathering to celebrate the Eucharist in such a way that reflects the true meaning and essence of what it means to be a Catholic school. As we continue to celebrate Catholic Schools Week, please join me in praying for our community, that we may always come together in faith, unity, and love reinforcing the values that form the foundation of our educational journey.
God bless,
Maryann Jimenez
