Record and share name pronunciations in Google Workspace

Our names are central to our unique identities, and saying them correctly is the first step in connecting with, respecting, and appreciating one another. In the spirit of promoting a culture of inclusion for all members of our Lab community, we want to let you know that you are now able to add an audio pronunciation recording of your name to your Google profile.

NotebookLM, an Experimental AI Notebook

NotebookLM is a tool that allows you to upload sources such as Google Docs, PDFs, and copied text, and then engage with them by asking questions or giving instructions in an AI chat box. For now, Google is offering NotebookLM as an experimental project and the service is not institutionally supported at Berkeley Lab. Staff are welcome to explore AI services while following Lab policies, including Guidance on using Generative AI tools.
