Events in local sustainability this February
Farm days

We are preparing the farm for the coming season of cultivation.

We meet at the Community Farm or the Community Orchard in Poundbury on
Sunday afternoons at around 2pm

and also on

Wednesday mornings at 10.30

We have started preparing areas for planting later in the year, and are clearing a space to bring over a brassica cage from the orchard.  We will start planting salad and carrots in the polytunnel.  The apple pruning is continuing along with the soft fruit.  We will set up some new compost areas.

Email us if you'd like to come along.

Planting raspberries - but we are disappointed to find we probably won't get any fruit till next year...
We had quite a crowd for our wassailing, and with all the noise we made, there probably aren't any evil spirits left in the trees now...
...particularly with the racket this horn and drum produced
Bring your broken items and see if our volunteers can fix them, and save them from landfill. Usually held on the last Saturday in the month - check their facebook page for venue!
