The climate crisis is a health crisis. People who live with long-term health conditions - including cardiovascular conditions and diabetes - are more vulnerable to the effects of heat.
The temperature in every home in the study rose to at least 25C – the maximum safe indoor temperature for London. Alarmingly, 10 homes recorded over 30C.

We’re proud to have funded a new food insecurity map in partnership between DAMSL and Olio.
The map uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to estimate the extent of food insecurity in London. It draws insights from Olio’s behavioral data, as well as publicly available data on demographics, food outlets, and more.
The objective of the food insecurity map is to:
Help direct resources toward the communities that need them most
Introduce greater transparency and accountability on the issue of food insecurity in London
