Academics

Our Motto Means More

Don’t leave the couch during commercial breaks if you’re watching the men’s basketball game against the Tar Heels. Wake Forest’s new commercial will air for the first time during the game on Jan. 22. Like Wake Forest, it will be...distinctive. Our embrace of Pro Humanitate sets us apart. Our marketing should do the same. If you miss the game, be sure to check out Wake Forest’s social media accounts (@WakeForest on X, @wfuniversity on Instagram and Facebook) afterwards to learn more about our new campaign. Go Deacs!

Campus Climate Survey to launch (with great incentives!) next week

  • Wake Forest’s Belonging and Inclusion Campus Evaluation survey will be emailed to you on Jan. 22. Please take the survey when you receive it. The survey is designed to be completed in one sitting on the same computer, tablet, or phone (if you change devices or web browsers, you will lose the information you previously entered).
  • In addition to sharing your perspective on both positive and challenging aspects of our institutional climate, you can be entered into drawings for some great incentives, including: a Nintendo Switch, four Reserved tickets to the general Commencement ceremony in the year of your graduation, a reserved table for four at Pitsgiving, two reserved tickets for Face to Face with Trevor Noah, and more. Visit the website for more details; the survey will run Jan. 22-Feb. 10.

Student Trustee applications and nominations

The Wake Forest University Student Life Committee is seeking applicants and nominations for the Student Trustee position on the 2024–25 Board of Trustees. The Student Trustee position is open to all rising, full-time junior and senior students (i.e. current sophomores and juniors) who are not on academic or social probation. Applications for the Student Trustee position must be completed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7. Students can self-nominate and apply. Read more or submit an application or nomination.
