Our recipients include some of the most influential voices of the past two centuries — women who have helped shape history — as well as nonprofit organizations at the forefront of driving social change. Meet a few of the 2023-24 awardees who live and work right here in North Carolina.
Sunday, January 28 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Hands-On Coding and Robotics for Teens and Tweens in-person at the Benjamin Branch Library, grades 4th to 8th, boys and girls, with a separate STEM activity for younger grades as well. This is a drop-in event. High School volunteers will be demonstrating activities in robotics, coding, and electronics. Parents are welcome to attend. FREE
