Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Yesterday I attended a candidate forum put on by the League of Women Voter's for the District 4, San Mateo County Board of Supervisors race. The primary election is on March 5th and the top two vote getters will move on to the November election. I encourage you to do your own research/vetting of the candidates and to vote in local (and all!) elections. A great resource to learn about all the candidates that will be on your ballot is vote411.org. Please engage. Our democracy is what we make of it.

At Tuesday night's (1/23) meeting the Council will vote to readopt the revised Housing Element that was conditionally approved by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). Other agenda items include the appointment of a new Planning Commissioner, ordinances related to animal control and tobacco retailers and more. A link to the agenda with all items is below.

Have a wonderful week.

Warmly,
Jen
