Harry Kullijian, who reunited with his childhood friend Carol Channing in their 80s and married her, died this week on the eve of his 92nd birthday. The couple married in 2003, 70 years after attending middle school together. We spoke to Carol in 2009 and she told us about their shared passion for poetry and keeping arts education in schools. She also raved about her new husband's lifelong ability to be resourceful, even in the depths of the Great Depression.
