Ever heard of a seal?

It’s a discreet, ring-shaped appliance that can be added under your base plate to provide extra security, with the aim of preventing output coming into contact with the skin.

So, if you are suffering from leaks, have sore, irritated skin around your stoma, or are simply looking for extra security and peace of mind, you may benefit from using a seal as part of your daily routine.

You can now sample eakin® seals through Respond. Click here to order a sample - it’s a small change which can have a big impact on your life!

For many people, returning to work after their stoma surgery is an important milestone, signifying a welcome return to ‘normality’. It also serves as a powerful reminder of just how far one has come since those early post-op days.

However, it can also be a source of anxiety. Should you tell people you have a stoma? What happens if you have a leak, or your stoma makes a noise during a meeting? We've got some great tips on returning to work and what your rights are too. You can find out more here
