Epinephrine Savings Programs

Are you looking for ways to lower your costs for epinephrine auto-injectors? Learn about available devices, copay programs, and other tips that may help you.

The rising cost of life-saving epinephrine auto-injectors is hard on families managing food and other allergies. The increasing prices of these devices, including generics, have made it harder for many people to have access to this life-saving medicine.

The EPIPEN Act will cap the out-of-pocket cost of a two-pack of auto-injectors at $60. Read more about this legislation and ask your members of Congress to support it.

Food Allergies and Asthma

If your child has food allergies, there is a chance they may also get asthma thanks to the allergic march (or atopic march). This refers to how allergic diseases progress in a person over time. Allergic disease usually starts with dry skin in babies.

So, what do parents of children with both food allergies and asthma need to know? We have some resources below.

Can Food Allergies Affect Asthma?
Can food trigger asthma? While food is not a common asthma trigger, there’s more to know about this topic. There can also be some overlap between symptoms of asthma and severe allergic reactions to food. Allergist John James, MD, answers important questions about the connection between food allergies and asthma.

Managing Allergic Asthma in Children
