In many ways, <<First Name>>, we are all dog. Do I actually understand how radio waves work, how spread-spectrum frequency-hopping works, or how digital-to-analog processors work? Not really. I just know that if I answer the phone, I can talk to another human who’s far away. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. (Which seems to be a major theme of Apple’s adaptation of Foundation. Even if they can’t properly patch drywall in the future. DON’T GET ME STARTED.)
Anyway. You may have noticed that the “Publishing” calendar in my last newsletter made no sense at all, and that’s because (see above) I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I’M DOING. It’s been ten years since I attempted any sort of indie publishing, and lots of things have changed, and I’m learning about production all over again.

Yes, it will also be available from Amazon, but we can’t do pre-orders there for uninteresting monopoly reasons. (Billionaires shouldn’t exist, but that’s another story.)
ALSO! There will be a print paperback edition that should start showing up at online retailers in a couple of weeks, and I’m working with a local independent bookstore for consignment sales; stay tuned for more info on getting signed copies, if you like that sort of thing.
