Here’s what WFU should know this week.

Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024

Please take a break right now and take our climate survey, or come to the ZSR library at 9:30 p.m. tonight with a screenshot of your completed survey for free Jimmy John’s subs (while supplies last).

Once you submit the anonymous survey, you can enter a separate lottery for the chance to win early housing registration (i.e., if you are a sophomore, you will receive priority registration among sophomores), reserved tickets for Face to Face with Trevor Noah, reserved tickets to the general Commencement ceremony, and more.

Academics

  • Students received this message Monday about the move to Workday Student later this spring. Workday Student will give you access to registration, academic planning and progress, and financial information, all in one system. Visit the training website for additional resources.
  • Major/minor declaration week: Undergraduate students who are eligible to declare a major or minor (40+ earned hours) should submit major/minor requests by Friday, Feb. 9. (See your email for instructions, or visit our website).
  • Also for undergraduates: The last day to drop with a grade of "W" for first part-of-term classes is Thursday, Feb. 15.
