  • Join PURPOSE CENTER for a 60-minute interactive workshop where you will learn interviewing tactics and have the opportunity to practice answering interview questions. You will learn to tailor your answers to the job you are applying to and how to incorporate your CliftonStrengths® into your interview answers.

Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE)

The Office of Undergraduate Research is now accepting applications for students and faculty mentors who would like to participate in the Summer Undergraduate Research ExperienceSURE is a mentored research experience for undergraduate students interested in graduate school, research or creative work within their discipline. Student participants receive a $5,000 stipend for eight weeks of full-time research from May 28 to July 26, 2024.

WVU Institute of Transportation Engineers 

The WVU Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) purpose is to provide a community for all undergraduate and graduate students in civil engineering, and associated fields interested in transportation.

  • Members of this community help shape the future of the profession and transportation by obtaining and using knowledge, practices, and skills in transportation engineering and cultivating connections with transportation professionals.
  • Each year students from the organization attend the Mid-Colonial District ITE meeting to compete in a jeopardy-like competition against local schools called the traffic bowl.
