A Snow Ball Success!
Despite the delay caused by the deep freeze in January, last Friday was Gardner's biggest SnowBall so far!  Over 100 students and siblings joined us for food, dancing, games, glittery tattoos, and a night of pure fun on campus.  Thank you to the parents who joined us at the end to dance, and to all the staff whose willingness to put in an extra-long day made it possible!
Program Spotlight
Summer Camp Registration
Now Open for Gardner Students!
While the days are still darker, rainy, and cold, it's hard to believe that we're already into the time of year to schedule for Summer Camps!

We have a full roster of exciting offerings again this summer for kids aged 3 through 6th grade.  Our Summer Camp season runs July 8th through August 16th.  Each camp runs for a week, from 9am to 3pm.  Cost is $365 for a week of camp, excluding any special materials fees and a one-time setup fee for any new families not already in the FACTS information system.

Early enrollment is now open for our Gardner families! (We will open enrollment for our wider community in a few weeks).  Please visit our website to see our Summer Camp Offerings!  Gardner families will enroll through a simple Google form and be billed through the FACTS financial system.
Meet the Staff
Bree Patzer, Bookkeeper
Bree comes from the construction industry and has over 20 years experience in HR, accounting, and managing. She graduated from Pioneer Pacific College in the medical field but accounting and numbers have always been her strength. Her off time is spent enjoying trails and hikes all over Oregon and Washington. Exploring the Northwest, mushroom picking, and gardening are her favorite hobbies. She lives with her 5 dogs and 13 year old daughter.

Bree will be working with Sheila in the Business Office, focused on our financial processes including accounts payable and receivable.

2024 Gardner Auction

Tickets on Sale Now!

Our annual Gardner Art Auction and Paddle Raise is fast approaching!  This year's event will be on Saturday, March 16th, at 5pm, here on the Gardner campus.

In addition to a delicious array of charcuterie and beverages, we will have our popular Auction Activities, led by our very own Gardner staff. Have you always wanted to do an Escape Room? Are you more interested in a relaxing Paint and Sip?  Fascinated by the Magic of Science? Or perhaps you would like to learn more about Mexican art? We have an activity for you!  And after activities, the Art Auction and Paddle Raise will be led by our always entertaining auctioneer!

Join us for this fun evening while we raise important operating capital for our school and celebrate our students, staff, and community. Tickets can be purchased online today, and if you want to be listed as a Sponsor of our auction, we have opportunities for that as well. We hope you'll join us in March!

Learning in Action

Following Curiosity
Do you know how much water a roll of toilet paper can hold? Our kindergarten students figured this out last week with an impromptu science experiment. Sometimes curiosity gets the best of us, and after some "excessive investigation" in the bathroom, Teacher Joyce set up the opportunity to demystify the question in the classroom, with lots of opportunities for forming hypotheses and making predictions along the way.
