February in Midtown:
Fall in Love with Art in Baltimore

Happy February, the month of love, to all our cherished members of the Midtown Community Benefits District! In this special edition of our newsletter, we are embracing the spirit of love not just for one another, but for the art and culture that enrich our lives and our community. This February, we invite you to fall in love with art in Baltimore all over again, as we spotlight a project that's close to our hearts: the Maryland Avenue Bridge Mural.

In collaboration with the talented Saba Hamidi, a female artist whose roots and creativity run deep in Baltimore, we are on the brink of bringing a captivating mural to life on the Maryland Avenue Bridge, scheduled for unveiling in Spring 2024. This project, generously supported by our friends at the Central Baltimore Partnership, is a beacon of our community's commitment to beauty, inclusivity, and the power of art to unite us.

As we delve into the heart of this project, we see it as an opportunity to allow art to draw people in and connect our diverse communities. With a design that's inclusive and images that engage the broadest range of communities, the Maryland Avenue Bridge Mural is set to become a symbol of what we can achieve when we come together.

In this month of love, we extend a heartfelt invitation to each of you to be part of this artistic journey. Your feedback is the cornerstone of this project's success. It ensures that the mural not only beautifies our surroundings but also resonates deeply with everyone in our community. We urge you to take a moment to fill out the survey included in this newsletter. Your insights and perspectives are invaluable as we strive to create a mural that reflects the vibrant tapestry of Midtown Baltimore.

Let's celebrate February by spreading love, embracing art, and weaving the fabric of our community tighter with every brushstroke. Thank you for your continued support and engagement. Together, let's make this project a testament to the love and unity that art can foster in our community.
