Applications are open now
for our third LA2050 Youth Ambassador cohort!

💛

Do you know any young Angelenos (ages 14 to 24) who are passionate about making a positive impact on our region? Encourage them to apply!

LA2050 Youth Ambassadors will learn about the social impact landscape in LA, participate in one or more of this year's volunteer activations, and play a crucial role in LA2050 Grants Challenge voting outreach.

Last year, our second cohort of 140 Youth Ambassadors engaged 3,000+ Angelenos.

All Youth Ambassadors will be awarded a certificate honoring their service. And, the cherry on top: the two participants who reach the most Grants Challenge voters will each win $500 – a $250 Visa gift card and $250 to donate to the nonprofit organization of their choice.

My favorite Los Angeles places and spaces...
PLAY: I love a good hike, and the Griffith Park Trails must be one of my favorites in LA! Whether going with friends or hiking solo, Griffith Park has one of the best views of the LA skyline.

CREATE: I absolutely love Brooklyn Charm! The small jewelry thrift in Ventura, has some of the best trinkets to make your own charm necklace; with its art-decorated walls and vast pendants, you’re sure to have a wholesome experience.

CONNECT: Live music and concerts are my favorite ways of meeting new people. The Troubadour in West Hollywood has quickly become my favorite venue. This small but intimate 500-people live music site has some of the best vibes and provides experiences unlike any other.

LEARN: I can never go a day without a book in my hand, and Skylight Books in Los Feliz has an array of the coolest, most intriguing books, screenplays, and author conversations. There's so much to learn from this cozy bookstore!

LIVE: I find film inspirational and heartening, and Cinespia showcases some of the greatest movies, all from the comfort of the outdoors. Screening from the prominent Hollywood Forever Cemetery, it has quickly become one of my friends' and my favorite movie spots.
