No Ticket? No problem!

If you don't have a ticket and you don't want to miss the Believe the Promise (BTP) International Camporee to be held in August 2024, there's a solution to this problem - volunteer!

Volunteer tickets are still available and the BTP camporee needs your help. Prospective volunteers should:
  • Be 18 years old or older
  • Be willing to work full time - 8 hours a day
  • Have a copy of his/her Vulnerable Sector Check (to be submitted upon registration)
  • Have a current certification or credential (this will be required for medical practitioners, lifeguards, etc. For the rest, just type "Not Applicable" in the application.
The Ontario Conference will host the soccer tournament and indoor track and field events at the Energy Capital Sports Complex and Campbell County Recreation Center, respectively. Various volunteer opportunities are available so sign up now!

Procedure to Volunteer:

1. Fill out an application form by clicking the link below:
https://s2.goeshow.com/cye/ic/2024/volunteer_application.cfm
(Be ready to upload a copy of your Vulnerable Sector Check result)
2. Choose to volunteer for offsite activities either at the Energy Capital Sports Complex or Campbell County Recreation Center. In the comment section, you can specify the area were you would like to be assigned.

3. After completing the volunteer application form, you will be directed to pay for your volunteer ticket at a cost of $225 USD.

4. After purchasing your volunteer ticket, please fill out the following online Google form:

BTP Sports Volunteer Interest Form

5. Lastly, send an email and provide your name, conference, church, club, email address, and contact number to the following:
a. For Track and Field - cyetrack@gmail.com
b. For Soccer Tournament - camporee.ca@gmail.com

The International Camporee is primarily for pathfinders. Unfortunately, there are many adult ticket holders who will attend the camporee simply to chaperone their children, meet friends, have a good time, etc. without contributing much to the camporee. While there's nothing wrong with that, able-bodied adults are encouraged to sign up as volunteers (so they can purchase volunteer tickets) and to make their general admission tickets available to other pathfinders so they can attend this life-changing event.
