The Village of San Leanna is governed by an elected Board consisting of a Mayor and five Alderpersons. All are elected for two year terms, so that each year three positions are up for election. This year the General Election will be held on Saturday, May 4th (the complete election schedule is below).
Candidates for three positions on the Board will be on the ballot; three Alderpersons.
Are you eligible? Any resident who has resided in the State of Texas for at least 12 months preceding the filing deadline, and in the Village for at least 6 months prior to election day is eligible to submit an application to be on the ballot and run for office.
The Village depends on volunteers who serve terms on the Board, and cannot exist without them. The deadline for filing an application is February 16th. Please send an email to village@sanleannatx.com or call the Village office at 512-280-3898, if you are interested in securing an application.
We will also need volunteers for election day! If you’re interested, please contact the Village office. The Villagruns on our wonderful volunteers!

ORDER OF GENERAL ELECTION
A General election is hereby ordered to be held on May 4, 2024 , in
the Village of San Leanna , Travis County, Texas for the purpose of electing the
following officers as required by Article XVI, Section 65 of the Texas Constitution:
Three (3) Alderpersons
Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted each weekday at the Community Center – 11906 Sleepy Hollow, Manchaca, TX between the hours of 10-:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. beginning on April 23, 2024 and ending on April 30, 2024.

February 20 - Final day for write-in candidate to file declaration.
February 23 - First day election may be cancelled.
February 23 - Final day for candidate to withdraw from ballot.

April 19 Final day to receive application from voter in person for a ballot to vote by mail.
April 22 - First day for early voting in person.
April 23 - Final day to receive application from voter by mail for a ballot to vote by mail.
April 30 - Final day for early voting in person.
May 4 - ELECTION DAY.
7:00 p.m. deadline for early voting ballots through mail. Voting hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center at 11906 Sleepy Hollow.
TBD (May 6 - 12) - Post 72-hour notice for meeting to canvass election.
TBD (May 9 – 15) - Canvass the election.
