Waters Families,

Waters hosted over 300 visual art, drama, dance and music teachers today from throughout the district for the CPS Arts Instructional Summit. All of the sessions looked super fun and creative. Also, thank you to the Waters families who brought a mix of homemade cookies and other confections for our guests!

Our K-5th Waters teachers are in the midst of a full day of professional learning about our new Illustrative Math curriculum. All of our Waters staff also enjoyed some cookies from Lutz as a treat from WatersToday.

Finally, a quote from Bill Walsh for Super Bowl weekend.

“If your why is strong enough, you will find your how.”

We are looking for someone to take over care of the downstairs fish tank in the coming months. Our long-time caretaker, Carolyn Deane, is looking to pass the torch after her student graduates this year. Waters staff does the feeding and the tank just requires a little maintenance every couple of weeks.  Please contact Mr. Rutkowski if you are interested.
