Our All New Trivia Night Debuts in April!
You heard it here first! Our All New Trivia Nights will kick off on Thursday, April 11. Teams are limited to 6 people per team. Space is limited and registration is required to attend.

Registration for our Trivia Night will begin on Monday, March 11. To register, one person from your team must stop by the library and pick up a registration form from the Main Desk.
Join us for a presentation on the 2024 Total Eclipse!

On Thursday, March 21, the Warren Public Library will host 2 presentations (12:30-1:30 pm and 6:30-7:30 pm) in the Slater Room on the Total Eclipse by Tom Traub. Tom is a lifelong resident of Warren, PA.  After working with the Apollo space program, he worked for over 41 years at Betts Industries. He is currently the Vice President of the Marshal Martz Memorial Astronomical Association, Inc. (MMMAA), the nonprofit organization that operates the Martz-Kohl Observatory in Frewsburg, New York.

Everyone who attends will get a free pair of eclipse glasses in order to safely view the eclipse on Monday, April 8 at 3:18 pm. These programs are for all ages and registration is required.

  • Toddler Time: Mondays, 10:30 am, Children’s Department. Ages 1-5. Join Ms. Susan for stories, songs, crafts and creative play. Dates: March 4, 11, 18, and 25 
  • Youth Art Month Wetmore Gallery: Wetmore Gallery, March 4-30. Talented Warren County students from Warren County School District, St. Joseph Elementary School and local homeschoolers in grades K-12 will have teacher-selected pieces of artwork on display in celebration of Youth Art Month throughout March.
  • Make Your Own Fairy or Gnome Garden: Saturday, March 16, 11:00 am, Slater Room. For children in grades K-8. Master Gardeners will guide children in making a fairy or gnome garden with plants and found materials. The young gardeners will use their imagination to build a fairy or gnome garden using plants, pebbles, twigs, moss and other found items. Master Gardeners will provide the supplies and the children will provide the creativity! Preregistration is mandatory. Registration form available in the Children’s Department.
     
  • DIY Board Game Take Home Packet: Month of March. Learn how to make your very own board game. Pick up a packet in the Teen Space.
  • Dice and Combat Society: Saturday, March 2, 1:00-4:30 pm. Play a popular tabletop role-playing game together. Please have your character sheet ready.
  • Around the World at WPL: Monday, March 4, 4:00-5:00 pm, Multipurpose Room. Travel around the world, right here at the Warren Public Library. By embarking on this adventure, you will be able to try snacks enjoyed by the country of the month and learn their traditions, games, and languages.
  • Nintendo Club: Friday, March 8, 4:00-5:00 pm. Teens bring your Nintendo Devices (Switch, DS, 3DS) to socialize and play with other teens!
  • Life Skills 101- Budget and Finances: Monday, March 11, 4:00-5:30 pm. Come to the Maker Space to learn about making a budget, using a checkbook, and credit cards.
  • Virtual Author Talk: Christopher Paolini: Thursday, March 14, 4:00 pm, Jefferson Room. Join us as we chat with master storyteller and internationally bestselling author Christopher Paolini about his return to the World of Eragon with Murtagh.
  • Multimedia Club: Tuesday, March 19, 4:00-5:30 pm. A technology club for teens! This month, we start a TikTok for the Teen Space!
  • Teen Library Council: Monday, March 25, 4:00-5:00 pm. Each month you get a chance to share your ideas for the Teen Space with our Teen Services Staff.
    Snacks will be provided during the discussion in the Teen Multipurpose Room.
  • Teen Book Club: Wednesday, March 27, 4:00-5:00 pm. This month, read any book. Come share your reading experience over snacks with other teens.
  • Wednesday Workshops: Weekly Workshop for Teens: Come in for an all-day, self-paced activity in the Teen Space. Sessions in March:
    • March 6: Pokemon Card Making
    • March 13: Slime Making
    • March 20: Friendship Bracelets
    • March 27: String Easter Eggs

  • Crocheting for Beginners with Erin Wallace: Monday, March 4, 12:30 to 1:30 pm and 5:30 to 6:30 pm, Maker Space. Registration required.
  • Virtual Author Talk: Nina Totenberg: Wednesday, March 6, 4:00 to 5:00 pm, Jefferson Room.
  • Game Night: Thursday, March 7, 5:30 to 7:30 pm, Slater Room. 
  • Master Gardeners Program: Get a Plan for Your Summer Garden and Start Your Seeds: Saturday, March 9, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Slater Room. Registration required.
  • Bookmarks & Stamping for Beginners with Kitty Hagberg: Monday, March 11, 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Maker Space. Registration required.
  • Cardmaking for Beginners with Lisa Jordan: Monday, March 11, 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Maker Space. Registration required.
  • Movie Night: Wednesday, March 13, 6:00 to 7:30 pm, Slater Room.
  • Chair Yoga with Jill: Thursday, March 14, 12:30 to 1:30 pm, Jefferson Room.
