Cost for MCA or CCI member camps:

Full Conference - $175/person

Wednesday only or Thursday only, no overnight - $65/person

Pre-conference training (Psychological First-Aid)

Members $177 (includes accommodations, meals, course and material)


Cost for non-member camps:

Full Conference - $200/person

Wednesday or Thursday only, no overnight - $75/person

Non-members $187 (includes accommodations, meals, course and material)

Pre-Conference Training, March 4-5, beginning at 4 pm at Camp Arnes: Psychological First Aid (see description below & register now)


Tuesday March 5 – MCA Led

1:30 pm –  Optional Tour at Gimli Bible Camp (and Camp Massad, weather permitting)  *if GBC only, then 3pm

4-6 pm –       Arrival & Registration at Camp Arnes

6 pm –          Supper

7:00 pm –     Keynote Session 1 – Joel Hilchey

8:00 pm –     Fun, interactive Trivia Nite hosted by Camp Arnes staff

9:30pm -       Networking, board games, night skiing? Hike? bonfire? tractor ride? & late-night snack


Wednesday March 6 – MCA & CCI/Canada MB Linked

8:30 am –    Breakfast

9:30 – 10:45 am –   Breakout Sessions #1 (3 options, see below)

10:45-11:15 am –    Coffee break

11:15-12:30 pm –    Breakout Sessions #2 (3 options, see below)

11am-12 pm –         Vendors set up

12:30-1:30 pm –      Lunch available whilst visiting vendors & listening to 2-minute infomercials.

12:30-2:30 pm –      Vendors & lunch

2:45 – 4:00 pm –     Breakout Sessions #3 (3 options, see below)

4:15 - 5:45 pm –      Camp Arnes Tour or Free Time

7:30 pm – CCI Welcome, worship and devotional

9:45 – 11 am – Breakout Sessions #4 (2 options, see below)

1:15 – 2:30 pm – CCI MB Chapter Introduction/Plans for the year

3 pm –         Final wrap up & goodbyes (snacks for the road)

Pre-Conference Training (at Camp Arnes): Psychological First Aid
This course equips learners in developing a personal understanding of the effects of stress, loss, trauma and grief on others, with emphasis on self-care and personal protection. Learners will be introduced to the Red Cross Look, Listen, Link, Live model - a resiliency-building approach to emotional, psychological, and social well-being that teaches learners how to support themselves and others to cope with the effects of various types of stress. The course uses primarily case-based learning and includes the latest evidence from the international community. The course recognizes the different supports we need such as the emotional, physical and spiritual.


Note for Course Participants
While mental health first aid programs teach how to help someone experiencing a mental health emergency, Red Cross Psychological First Aid is a resiliency-based program for everyone that offers prevention and coping strategies for dealing with different types of stress resulting from various types of trauma.

Camp staff –directors, program directors, program/activity leaders, cabin leaders

Monday check in at4pm at Camp Arnes – settle in, introduction, dinner, evening session; Tuesday –all day until supper
