WOMEN & FILM IS PROMOTED
TO SEPTEMBER FESTIVAL
For the past several years Women & Film has been a beloved mini-festival taking place in the Spring. We are pleased to announce that in 2024 Women & Film is being promoted to our main event of the year, the September film festival. (Cue the balloon drop!)
Women & Film will consist of multiple elements. Among them:
We think of this evolution as a festival within a festival. PTFF continues to be a champion for women filmmakers, and we’re excited to bring women-made films to larger audiences. PTFF specifically invites women filmmakers to submit their films for possible inclusion at the main festival.

While PTFF presents films from around the globe, we also have the goal of supporting local filmmakers.
