STEM Beyond Summer Internships


STEM Beyond Summer, now accepting applications! 


CalTeach is offering paid summer internships for UC Berkeley undergraduate students to work with K-12 students at leading Bay Area STEM nonprofits. Internships provide hands-on experience in science, technology, engineering, and math education. Participating organizations for this summer include the California Academy of Sciences, 'The Lawrence', Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Amgen Biotech Experience (LHS), The Oakland Zoo, and The Exploratorium. 


Eligible applicants must be continuing UC Berkeley undergraduates majoring in a STEM field, prospective or current CalTeach students, and have an interest in math or science education.

René Flores: A Talk on Ethnic Attrition in the US

Come and listen to René Flores talk at Berkeley Way West 12:10-1:30pm in room 1104! They will be diving deeper into ethnic attrition among some ethnic groups in the US.

Summer Educator Opportunity at The Lawrence

UC Berkeley's The Lawrence is hiring Summer Educators! This position is

well-suited for undergraduate/graduate students or early-career adults with

a strong background in science and formal or informal education. In this

position, educators will facilitate fun, engaging, and meaningful hands-on

science learning for in-person camps with kids in grades 1-6.

This is a seasonal position (May 20 - August 16, 2024) and has a pay range

Tutoring for Stem Students at Local Community Colleges

Cal Teach is part of a partnership with local community colleges looking for STEM tutors! This is a paid position and tutors must be available 1-2 times a week for at least 1-5 hours a day. If you enjoy helping others achieve their academic goals, this can be an opportunity for you!
