Public Invited to Easter Egg Hunt at Chimney Park State Historic Site, Medora


Medora, N.D. – The public is invited to the 82nd annual Harry Roberts Memorial Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30, 1 p.m. MT, at Chimney Park in Medora. This free event is for children ages 12 and under. Thousands of eggs will be hidden within Chimney Park. Children should bring their own collection basket or bag and must be accompanied by an adult. This event is free.

Harry Roberts, the first site supervisor at the Chateau de Morès State Historic Site, started this annual Easter egg hunt in 1941. The event is sponsored by the Chateau de Morès State Historic Site, Medora Chamber of Commerce, and Friends of the Chateau de Morès.

In case of inclement weather, the hunt will be rescheduled to Saturday, April 6. Schedule changes will be posted on Facebook facebook.com/ChateauDeMores

Chimney Park is part of the Chateau de Morès State Historic Site and is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
