Producer Notes
Greetings Everyone,
We are well into the new year and the team is busy at work, continuing our efforts on Ultima Online: New Legacy as well as updates to our current production shards.
We are working closely with our alpha testing team to bring a beta version of Ultima Online: New Legacy to the world by this summer. If you would like to participate in the beta, please keep an eye on UO.com to signup! Barring any unforeseen delays, our goal is to launch Ultima Online: New Legacy in September to celebrate the 27th Anniversary of Ultima Online! We cannot wait to share this exciting new world with you all!
We've also got an exciting year ahead for our production shards. Highlights include updates to PvP, new Veteran Rewards, updates to the Black Market, and our next live event: Shrouded Sails! PvP updates will be coming to TC1 soon, and it is imperative that those interested take part in the testing & feedback of those changes so we can effectively address any concerns.
We'd like to address two important matters on the Korean shard. Firstly, the Vendor Search function isn't translating effectively from English to Korean, and we're actively seeking a resolution.
Secondly, a reminder about Auction Safes: if you're selling your house, please ensure to remove your Auction Safes. Post-transfer of ownership, the safe doesn't transfer, leaving the original owner unable to retrieve any items left inside.
Congratulations to Phreak on winning the Gargoyle side Abyss House! A friendly reminder to participants in the raffle stone: winning requires removing one of your houses, and the original house will be condemned.
Our new Community Manager has been organizing various contests to celebrate special days. Here are the recent winners:
- November Harvest Festival Storytelling Contest: Cinderella of Sonoma
- December Holiday Season Backpack Art Contest: Sadie of Atlantic
- February Valentines Day Contest: Reinquist of Great Lakes
Finally, let's review Customer Support actions for January:
- 5 cases of Solicitation
- 22 cases of Macroing
- 29 cases of Multiboxing
- 24 cases of Disruptive Behavior
- 1 case of Abuse of Game Mechanics
See you in Britannia,
Bonnie "Mesanna" Armstrong
