Pmarra nurna-kanha ntarntarai - Care for our Country, Araluen Arts Centre, NT
Now at Araluen Arts Centre in Mparntwe (Alice Springs): Iltja Ntjarra artists are expressing their concerns about the mining of their Country through strong words and powerful artworks created from repurposed road signs.

VIDEOS x ART CENTRES also presents a selection of short films from Aboriginal Art Centres, including our very own film 'Pmarra nurna-kanha ntarntarai' - Care for our Country. Artworker Klinton Buzzacott played a vital role in the production of this film, handling sound recording and operating the second camera. This exhibition ends on March 3.

'Arrpmarnintja – Creation from the Beginning, SA
At the Adelaide Botanic Garden as part of Tarnanthi, Iltja Ntjarra artists explore and record significant native plants on Country. Men artists paint the vegetation of Alyape (Palm Valley) a sacred male site. Here arrangkeye (cabbage palm), grown from seeds originally carried from Northern Australia by ancestors millennia ago, still thrive.

Women artists capture native plants around the Ntaria (Hermannsburg) and along the Lharapinta (Finke River), reflecting on their uses and meanings, and inscribing them with Western Aranda names.

The exhibition also showcases handmade and painted boomerangs, along with a short film created by artworker Klinton Buzzacott, with support from Pin Rada. Artworks from the exhibition are available for viewing and acquisition HERE
The exhibition ends on March 3.
