Trail Mix: Local Trails & Local Artists
Seeking Niagara Falls Musicians to share one song, poem, comedy piece or spoken word work. Artists will be paid an honorarium of $50 for their work.
Trail Mix is an auditory accompaniment to your walk along Niagara Falls Millennium Trail, featuring the work of local artists. You can listen to the mix while enjoying the sights of the trail. QR codes along the trail will take you to music, humour or spoken word on your smart device.

In 1997, Mr. Allister Young donated a 1932 Ford Roadster to be raffled off and the money raised from the sale of tickets was used to establish an Arts and Culture Endowment Fund. Each year one recipient is awarded this endowment. This individual must be:
an active artist in any creative arts field in the City of Niagara Falls.
must have accumulated substantial volunteer hours in the arts or in an arts organization in Niagara Falls
in Grade 12 or above (applicants need not be a student- ages 16 to 100 are encouraged to apply)
a resident of Niagara Falls

The Victoria Avenue Business Improvement Association (VCBIA) is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Indigenous artist to showcase their creativity. We're on the lookout for a talented artist to paint a captivating mural in the alleyway between Ellen Avenue and Victoria Avenue.

Tattoos are living images that reveal important stories about our residents, our community and the tattoo phenomenon. “My Story, My Tattoo” features 32 photographs and stories of people and their amazing tattoos.
Participants represent every walk of life –everyone from a cancer survivor to teachers and their students, a firefighter and a farmer. The participants range in age from 26 to 89 years and live throughout Wellington County.
All of the individuals were open and honest, and their stories and personalities are represented through this series of thought-provoking and colourful images. Chris Piccinetti, a Guelph photographer and graphic designer for the County of Wellington, photographed these inspiring images. DETAILS
