The crew is really looking forward to four sailing trips to Glacier Bay National Park again this summer. As one of the few businesses (and the sole sailboat charter) permitted to provide trips in this spectacular and very wild National Park, we are honored to share it with our guests for more than 30 years. One trip is still open!

Covering our BOB

Sailboat BOB has looked after us for decades and we are excited to share some love back. We commissioned a winter cover from Skookum Canvasworks here in Sitka and are thrillled with the result. Looking forward to dry decks and a worry-free winter.

We've been enjoying having everything under one roof for the first time in 15 years at the new house. But recently, Blain has had to put on his Swedish thinking cap to figure out the instructions on our IKEA order.

Friends Dan and Amy invited us to Canmore, Alberta to help cheer on the Crosscountry Ski World Cup. It was thrilling to watch Jessie Diggins win and to ring the cowbell for our US skiers (and a few Norwegians). We also got to explore the majestic Rockies around Banff and ski across Lake Louise.

Our captain sure does love doing trail work and his chainsaw. Maybe not necessarily in that order, however. Anyway, he has been volunteering some with Sitka Trail Works to help clear trails this winter in Sitka and can't think of a more fun way to get out on the trails. He is trying to figure out how to do it on skis next time.

Boy folks, the schedule is pretty crammed. Our 2024 season still has a couple of trips open. Three of four Glacier Bay trips are spoken for, and we are getting a lot of inquiries. Contact us now to reserve a dream trip. Come sail away!
