This Week at Waters

Waters Families,

We are ecstatic to share the news that our own first grade teacher Ms. Johnson is a finalist for the prestigious Golden Apple Teaching in Excellence Award! Please join us in congratulating her for this tremendous honor.

Over the past two years, we have worked hard to improve supports for our diverse learners and have also been able to double the number of full-time staff dedicated to supporting these students. Waters has a lot of relatively new faces among the twenty-two DL staff members. Families of diverse learners are invited to join us for a “Meet & Greet” with staff to get to know each other. The Meet & Greet will be on Wednesday, April 10, report card pickup day. A specific time will be shared as we get closer to the date.

Finally, Girls on the Run is returning for its spring season! We currently have a limit of 15 students who can enroll in the program. If we are able to identify more coaches, we will be able to increase capacity for this wonderful program. Please let Mr. Rutkowski know if you are up for coaching.
