On March 7, join Pages of Colour, which will feature Black vendors and authors, literature, spoken word performers, activities, prizes and more. The free event is organized by UTM Library and Black at UTM in collaboration with Pearl Tita's Blk Book Fair, a platform that showcases Black authors and literature.

Nominations are now open for the 2023-2024 UTM Staff Awards.
The criteria for the Principal’s Service Award for Excellence and the Principal’s Staff Awards, as well as the steps to follow in submitting a nomination, can be found on the Staff Awards & Recognition website. Nominations close March 15.

New tool to hook phishing scams
A new "Report Phishing" button will soon be available in Outlook for all University of Toronto staff, faculty, librarians and students to use for reporting suspicious emails. This new button will appear in Outlook toolbars between now and March 8, and should be used instead of Microsoft’s “Report Message” button. Learn more
End of the line for eTokens
The eToken service will be retired on Feb 29. Following this date, there will be no provision or renewal of eTokens.
The university now uses DUO as its multifactor authentication technology, replacing eToken for accessing adminVPN and RDG services. Return tokens to the Information Security department at 4 Bancroft Ave., room 101, Toronto. Email questions to auth.admin@utoronto.ca. Learn more
As part of the New Science Building project, the loading dock area in W.G. Davis Building, Level 0 is being demolished and replaced with a new expanded dock, to be completed by October 2024.

Peter Mumford is the new director, recreation and wellbeing in the department of recreation athletics and wellness. For the last 12 years, Mumford has served as the associate director of campus recreation at York University.
Previously he held roles with the City of Mississauga and the Town of Richmond Hill. Mumford also helped with the redevelopment of the Pan Am games stadium into the full-size FIFA turf field and dome.
Tanvi Sagar has joined the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Office and Office of Indigenous Initiatives at the University of Toronto Mississauga as an executive assistant. Sagar was previously with Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital as a senior executive assistant and project coordinator to two vice-presidents.
Sagar holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management and Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics and is currently working towards certification in Project Management. She can be contacted at tanvi.sagar@utoronto.ca.
