Celebrating Women's History Month
|
|
|
This month, we honor the incredible achievements of women from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities who have left an indelible mark on history. From trailblazers who shattered glass ceilings to unsung heroes whose contributions have shaped our world, we celebrate the resilience, strength and brilliance of women.
 To kick off our celebration, we are shining a spotlight on ILEA's current 2023-2024 International President, Gwendolyn McNutt, CSEP. Gwendolyn is the regional external affairs manager at Comcast for Greater Chicago. She has been an active member of ILEA since 2001.
She dedicates her spare time to volunteering at food pantries, mentoring young girls, baking birthday cakes for youth living in shelters and foster care, supporting women living in shelter situations, and of course, being our International President! Most recently, she was listed in the 2024 Top 100 in Events presented by the Black in Events Network. Thank you, Gwen, for continuing to pave the way for future generations of event professionals.
