This Week at Waters

Waters Families,

We will be having a virtual parent coffee this coming Wednesday at 8:30 AM. The topic will be Waters’ spring events like Big Night. Please use this link to RSVP for the Parent Coffee.

CDOT will be performing floor beam girder repairs on the Wilson Ave. Bridge. The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 25 and the bridge is expected to be closed for 9 weeks.

Finally, the Parent & Community LSC Candidate Forum will be in the Gym on Wednesday evening. The event will be streamed. Candidates will make statements and also answer questions from the public. Members of the public must attend in-person to sign up to ask questions of the candidates.

5/6th Boys Basketball After the Parent v. Kids Game

23/24 PE+ Summer Camp with Mr. Archer & Mr. Ortiz

Playing your traditional PE activities, sports, and more
For incoming 3rd graders-8th grade level
Runs from Monday-Friday at 8:30am-11:30am. No camp on July 4 & 5.
Your child will need to bring the following: a water bottle, gym shoes, and a bite to eat if they wish to.
One form for EACH student is required
You can sign up for individual or multiple weeks
There are limited spots, and we want to ensure that all spots are filled by those who can attend.

FRIDAY NITE FOOTBALL

Friday Nite Football will be hosting a 3 on 3 soccer tournament the next 3 Fridays, starting Friday, March 15th. All Waters boys and girls are invited and parents too! A Sign Up Sheet is posted outside the gym (for team signup as well as anyone looking for a team). Feel free to email Watersboyssoccer@gmail.com if you prefer to sign up that way.

Details:

- 3 on 3 games, Fridays at Waters Turf Field, March 15, 22 (will push to April 5th if we need to postpone due to weather)

Teams:

- 3 OR 4 players per team (4th is a sub/alternate)

- Can include up to 1 adult (parent/coach)

Games:

- 20 minutes

- No goalies
