We are counting down the days until the April 8th Solar Eclipse event! Are you ready? If you need eclipse information, resources, or eclipse-viewing glasses, we have you covered. If you want to learn a bit more about solar maximum, the biggest solar storm in recorded history, and how this connects with how we study the Sun during an eclipse, listen to this NPR Short Wave podcast episode. SOLAR ECLIPSE VIEWING AT THE NSF NCAR MESA LAB

Join CIRES Science Show & Share on April 3 for a special webinar featuring Science on Sphere. In this workshop, explore eclipse datasets and best practices for sharing them with your class, ways to incorporate art into your eclipse teaching, and lessons you can add to your unit using citizen science applications like Globe Observer.

ONLINE AND IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS

Space is still available for UCAR Center for Science Education’s Climate and Earth Science Workshops in April (virtual) and June (in-person). Virtual workshops are free and in-person workshops can include optional graduate-level credit from the Colorado School of Mines.
