Pope Francis’ March Intention We pray that those who risk their lives for the Gospel in various parts of the world inflame the Church with their courage and missionary enthusiasm.

Weekly Bible Reflection
“I will be their God and they shall be my people.” - Jeremiah 31:33
What does it mean to be God’s people? It means we recognize that everything we have and everything we are belongs to God. We aren’t “owners” of anything, we are merely “stewards” of the gifts God has given us. It means we are willing to use our gifts and our lives to care for our family, our neighbors and for people we don’t know, just as God cares for each of us. | SECOND COLLECTION ON GOOD FRIDAY (Mar 29)The annual Good Friday Collection was first taken at Pope Paul VI’s request fifty years ago. It is the only yearly request asked by the Holy See of dioceses and parishioners throughout the world to assist the Church in the Holy Land. The monies collected support its pastoral, educational, and social works and help to maintain the Holy Places so important for the faith of Christians everywhere. For the sake of our brothers and sisters enduring hardships, please give generously during your parish’s Good Friday celebrations on March 29th, 2024. If you are unable to attend the service, it is possible to contribute by Interact e-transfer to terrasainte@bellnet.ca or online at Commissariat.ca - receipts will be issued. On behalf of the Franciscan Custody of the Holy Land, to whom the Holy See has entrusted this ministry for nearly 700 years, I sincerely thank you for your support. Fr. Robert Mokry, OFM - Commissary of the Holy Land in Canada

Upcoming Fundraising Events... Night of Hope Gala - May 3rd (we will be in need of some help the day before for set up as well as the day of). Again, if this is something that you are interested in, please let me know. Ride for RAN - September... we are going to be looking for a volunteer coordinator for that event.
