With the start of spring, we're thrilled to announce an array of events coming to the District, from community plantings to outdoor concerts and more. It's time to embrace the beauty of the season, dust off those gardening gloves, pack your picnic baskets, and join us as we make the most of the the season.

Celebratory Tree Planting
April 20th, 2024

Join us for this exciting event to celebrate two key milestones: the 1,000th tree planted by MVBA Trees,  a long-standing group of Mount Vernon-Belvedere Association volunteers and the culmination of our 2022 Chesapeake Bay Trust Urban Tree Grant Program.

After a brief commemoration, volunteers will be breaking off to groups in Mt. Vernon and Charles North to plant trees. Be sure to join us after the planting at Wet City Brewing for a gathering after the planting. We will have a special beer: The Charles Street Grand Pilsner to commemorate the occasion and Wet City will donate 20% to the Chesapeake Bay Trust. Eligible participants will also receive a discount from our partners at Releaf Shop. You won't want to miss this event!

Graffiti Removal Reminder

Midtown teams can remove graffiti from public infrastructure: think areas like bus stops, trashcans, mailboxes and lamp posts. But graffiti on private property or city-owned property is handled by Baltimore City DPW.

Visit our website to learn the difference and review our graffiti removal guide.

Dog Waste Disposal Made Easy

We clean sidewalks and parks every day to keep them free of dog waste and have installed 30+ strategically located doggie waste stations for easy disposal. If you spot an empty dispenser, please notify us by submitting a service request or call the office at 410-528-1512.

Remember, it's the law to pick up after your pet, so please do your part.

350 Tress Coming to Midtown by 2025

The Midtown Tree Canopy Support Program recently created space for 60 news trees and in order to achieve this momentous goal, we are relying on volunteers to come to a series of community planting events.

We look forward to creating a healthier and greener Midtown together.
