‘Fibers and Flavors’ scheduled at Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site

BISMARCK, N.D. - The Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site will be hosting “Fibers and Flavors” Saturday, May 11, 1-4 p.m. Fiber craft enthusiasts, bring your crochet, knitting, or preferred fiber craft projects to work on in the ambiance of the Former Governors’ Mansion. 

The event is free, and lemonade and cookies will be served. All ages are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Former Governors’ Mansion, located at 320 E. Ave. B, Bismarck, is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Admission is free. The Former Governors’ Mansion is open 1-5 p.m. the second combined Friday and Saturday of each month or by appointment. Summer hours begin Wednesday, May 15, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, 12-4 p.m. To make an appointment outside of regular hours, phone 701.328.9528 or email shsfgm@nd.gov.
