Waters Families,

We had three talented, bold students make their statements in our student LSC Candidate forum this afternoon: Niko Weber, Abigail Lazzara and Caelan Gaubatz. The students chose Caelan Gaubatz to represent them on the Local School Council next year. Congratulations!

The Parent & Community Candidate Forum was earlier this week on Wednesday evening in the gym. You can see the recording on YouTube. (The actual forum starts 6 minutes into the video.) The guidelines for presenting identification to vote in the LSC election are listed toward the end of the newsletter.

Big Night is coming up in a month! Big Night is one of our two major annual fundraisers and also a great opportunity to get plugged into the Waters community. Much of the event is already organized, so new volunteers don’t have to take on huge responsibilities. You can “shadow” a current committee member to learn the ropes, while lending a hand. Please contact WatersToday to join in!

With Kindness,
Mr. R.

An official detour will be marked diverting vehicular traffic to the Montrose bridge via Western Ave. All residents will retain access to their homes on either side of the river.
