Maximising B Corp Month's PR (and lead gen) opportunity

5th March 2024

It's been a while, four months in fact, since our last B Corp-to-B Corp newsletter. We had a new website in development, that's all. Now we're back, and we've some great data that you might be interested in to boost your PR efforts this B Corp Month.

Media mentions:

It's B Corp Month and as you might expect, the UK media is buzzing right now. Since Monday last week, "B Corp" and "B Corp Month" have been mentioned
420 times in the national media - in articles, interviews, TV and radio segments.

Brand and lead gen opportunities for B Corps this month:

Certified B Corps need to look at how to use these next four weeks to their advantage. This is a golden opportunity to
build your brand as a business that customers want to work with and people want to work for.

Most effective promotional tools?

Court the media: The media is very interested in the B Corp movement and are always
keen to hear what businesses have to say. But, caution must prevail. If you use a PR agency or manage your own PR internally, focus your communications on how being a B Corp creates value and makes a difference - the impact it has. This will boost your chances of media success.

Create 'owned' content: Clearly PR just completed a research project whereby 300+ business leaders told us that their preferred formats for content consumption are 1)
Articles/Blogs 2) Podcasts 3) Videos.

Invest time in producing thought leadership content that tells your message and engages your target customers the most. Interestingly,
more than half said they have done business with a company after consuming their content.

If you need support in finding a voice that enables your organisation to lead conversations, promote your brand, and both protects and enhances your reputation, our PR and content experts can help. We've been doing it for 10 years!

Have a good rest of the week!
