Pop-Up Hanami is back!
Clear your calendars for March 23rd because we'll be taking over the AMS Nest again for another one-day Sakura-themed anime convention! This year, you should expect everything that made last year's Hanami great, but bigger and better! We can't pop-up another Hanami without the main attractions though. Hanami 2024 will include:
Hanami Cosplay Cafe
Craving some sweets? What better way to satisfy those cravings than to be served by someone in full cosplay! Indulge in our anime-themed treats infused with an extra dash of magic as our team of cosplaying servers brings your favorite characters to life
Performances
Come watch Vancouver's best Idol Groups, Dance Troupes, Vocalists, and more take the stage! From electric dance routines to bangin' music, both seasoned and beginner weebs will be mesmerized by our performers
Artist Alley
This isn't your average artist alley, we give smaller and more niche artists a space to shine. Whether you want to round out your massive collection of anime art, or just bask in artistic glory, the Artist Alley is for everyone. Come try your best to not spend way too much money on prints and stickers of your favorite characters, we dare you.
Games and Activities
We'll also have a fleet of arcade games and activities for you to do with your friends! Our art station, Japanese-inspired games, and rhythm games from Zenith will be sure to keep you entertained!
Raffles and Prizes
You can try your hand at our totally-not-gacha new-and-improved raffle system! You'll have a mathematically significant chance of winning our grand prize this year: a fully custom-built, full-metal, custom mechanical keyboard (including 2 sets of switches, keycaps, and a deskmat!)
