Friend,

On this International Women’s Day, I am thrilled to announce that I have officially filed for re-election! It is truly an honor to serve as your Senator from District 19 and with your support I look forward to continuing to represent you in the Idaho Legislature.
During my time in the legislature I have tried to utilize my experience as a Women’s Center Director by working to pass five major pieces of legislation transforming how Idaho processes, tracks, and preserves sexual assault kit evidence that is now being copied in other states. Additionally, I have worked to pass legislation that would require insurance companies to provide up to a six-month supply of prescribed contraceptives to people covered.

I promise to continue to advocate for women's reproductive rights and those who are pregnant. The GOP has made it clear through their political platform that they want to strip women of their reproductive rights and put lives in danger. Just this year a senator just introduced a bill that would remove rape and incest exceptions for abortion.
As I continue to serve District 19, and all Idahoans, I vow to continue to be a tireless advocate for women’s rights, reproductive rights and work diligently to create safe spaces for women.

One of the reasons I have been able to do this work is because of you. Your support over the last 9 years encourages and inspires me every day. Will you join me again with a contribution of $20, $100, $250, or $500 to help my re-election campaign?
