Reimaging Jesus, Again

In this worship, we examine how Jesus can be reimagined as a guide and inspiration for the 21st century.
Coffee hour for Easter Sunday
The easter egg hunt for children will be happening simultaneously in the garden. Having coffee hour upstairs this week will allow entire community to watch the fun.

Easter egg hunt prize market
Children will turn in easter eggs they find in the garden for prizes distributed from tables set up in Fahs room. While the egg hunt is ongoing in the garden, coffee hour attendees will also be in the garden watching the fun.
The Share the Plate for March, is our Khasi Hills School Partnership
Daemika Marsharing is one of the two teachers we are sponsoring in the Khasi Hills. She started on March 4 to replace the teacher we signed cards for on the birth of her baby (who got a job closer to home). As of the beginning of the month, just $3600 is needed to fully fund the two teachers’ yearly salaries ($4800 each). The Khasi Hills Team is hoping that this month’s Share the Plate will close the gap and invite you to please give generously on Sunday.
Daemika was previously a student at the school and happy to be back. On the school Facebook Page, she writes: “I’m so glad to be here after 14 years as a teacher!! I’ll do my best and put every effort!”

EASTER EGG HUNT 3/31@ 11:30 ***after service
Dear families, we are excited to continue our First UU Easter Egg Hunt tradition that will take place on Sunday, March 31 after service. Our egg hunt this year features:
Outdoor egg hunt with areas for younger and older children
Marketplace for children to exchange eggs for a variety of prizes.
Food drive, we will be collecting canned goods and non-perishables for donation to our local food bank

After service ends, kids and families are invited to gather in the Schweitzer Room for instructions. Bring your own basket or we will have plenty on hand to be used if needed!
Middle and High school youth are invited to come and help hide the eggs early on Sunday morning and run the marketplace area! We need your help!
Please let Heather Masterson know if you can assist (hamasterson@gmail.com or 412-508-0739). Youth who will assist should plan to meet at church no later than 10:00 a.m. in the Schweitzer Room to help hide the eggs!

See you on March 31!
