Our Brook Hills Foster Care Ministry team is thrilled to join our partner, Foster Coalition, as well as other co-laborers in the area at the Trauma Informed Care Training Conference on April 20th at Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church. This conference will help educate and equip so that we can better provide a safe, secure environment where kids can develop new coping methods and start healing. This event is a great resource for foster parents, ministry volunteers, counselors, social workers, teachers, and anyone else that loves and cares for kids from difficult places. In honor of April being 2nd Chances Month, this week we are praying for Prison Fellowship, a Christian ministry that aims to see all who are affected by crime and incarceration reconciled to God, their families, and their communities. We are also praying for Brook Hills member, Jeremy Miller who leads out in these efforts throughout the state as Alabama's PF Field Director.
